    The North Carolina Winegrower's Association is the largest organization in the state dedicated to supporting North Carolina's growing number of vineyards and wineries. Incorporated in the state of North Carolina as a non-profit, the goal of the North Carolina Winegrower's Association is to help our members grow better grapes, make better wine and market the final product more effectively. Current membership of the NCWA is more than 350.



    The Mid-Atlantic Winegrape Grower's Guide


      

      This production guide provides new and current grape growers with practical information on site appraisal, establishment, and operation of commercial vineyards in Virginia and North Carolina. The focus is on production of vinifera and hybrid wine grapes, although elements of the guide will be useful to table grape producers as well.All chapters of this 127-pageaward-winning publication are available in PDF format for Adobe's Acrobat Reader.

        This 196-page production guide provides grape growers with practical information on site selection, establishment, and operation of commercial vineyards. It includes a new chapter on spring frost control and examines the pros and cons of active frost protection systems.

                    The V&E Department combines the sciences of viticulture and enology in a single research and teaching unit that encompasses all of the scientific disciplines that impact grape growing and winemaking. For over one hundred years the University of California has maintained an active and productive program in research and education in viticulture and enology. The continuing excellence of the Department has enabled California growers and vintners to develop practices that have allowed the Golden State to achieve its potential and become a premier wine-producing region.



                    American Beverage Licensees


                      

                      The American Beverage Licensees (ABL) is an association representing off-premise licensees in the "open" or "license" states and on-premise proprietors in markets across the nation. ABL was created in 2002 after the merger of the National Association of Beverage Retailers (NABR) and the National Licensed Beverage Association (NLBA).

                                    Founded in 1991 and funded by distillers, we are a national, independent, not-for-profit organization headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, chaired by the Honorable Susan Molinari.
